Man vs Tank

Of TIME’s list of the 100 most important people of the 20th Century, there is only one which remains without a name, dubbed “The Unknown Rebel“. The tag line for his entry read, “With a single act of defiance, a lone Chinese hero revived the world’s image of courage.”

I first saw this guy in a video from OneEarth.org about the power of one. The image was immediately shocking, but I had no idea where it came from. Thanks to the power of the Internet, we can now see this eternal image for ourselves.
